Grocery Shopping In Göteberg

Swedes make grocery shopping more efficient.
They can choose to grab a pricing scanner at the beginning to their grocery store run. As they add items to their cart or bag, they scan them for pricing.

Then they go up to pay, swipe their credit card, then carry groceries out to their car/bike.
Especially useful when you are buying two to four bags worth.
You open your bags right in the grocery cart and scan your food choices as you pack your items into each bag. Then you don't have to unpack your cart at check-out and re-pack.

  1. Some supermarkets here do that. It seems to rely on customer honesty!
