I have a friend who is in Los Angeles this weekend competing. She made it to the quarter-finals in a Latino Singing Competitiion; Tengo Talento.
I knew she sang (in addition to her day job) and she once serenaded me. Unfortunately, I could never make her gigs.
But now we have YouTube.
She is amazing -trying to forge this singing career.
Her name is Joana Bogarin.
You don't need to understand spanish to understand her singing.
