SewMamaSew is hosting another Giveaway Day.
UPDATE: MAY 27, 2011. Winner announced here. Thank you to all who entered.
I managed to upcycle four of these bunnies out of one woman's striped t-shirt and I put a couple into my etsy shop. I also gave one of them to my little great-niece who is 5 months old.
I thought someone out there would really really love one for their very own. Missy Bunny is about 6" high. Her ears make her seem taller.
This rabbit is all soft cotton knit, stuffed with poly-fil and the little face is embroidered on making this perfect for your little one or as a gift.
To enter, please leave a comment (& contact info, if necessary) and answer the question:
Where are you going on vacation this summer?
I can ship domestically as well as internationally. This giveaway is open to anyone.
The winner is decided randomly by me.
Giveaway is open until May 25th (evening PST). I will ship the bunny as soon after I close the comments and get contact info.
Thanks for commenting.
I need some vacation planning. My husband of 24 years is not the best at handling the pre-vacation details. Actually, I would love it if someone just gave me a vacation dream that is reasonably priced, about a week long and the details dove-tail nicely. Wishing for the moon here.
How cute! We don't have a vacation planned yet, but are hoping for some beach and sunshine days somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI love bunnies... *sigh*
ReplyDeleteWe're going to Galveston this summer for vacation. My hubby and three kids are excited since it's their first visit to the ocean. I have mixed feelings about it - I'll be 8 months pregnant!

ReplyDeleteWe're just hanging out at home this summer, no holidays for us. We'll just go on lots of hikes and picnics, that sort of thing. We'll have lots of fun, even if we don't go anywhere, we have a slice of heaven in our backyard and that's good enough for us.

I think I'll be going to Bali this summer, it's hot and sandy out there, but who can resist a beach getaway from time to time, no?
ReplyDeleteWe have already been on Summer hols! We road tripped it to the south of france, pretty much guzzling our way down, mmmm proper bread, nice cheese, tomatoes that taste of tomatoes, strawberries that actually smell of straw! It was amazing holiday, but being early in the year i'm going to have to wait ages for another!
ReplyDeleteI don't get summer vacation (poor person with just a regular job... I miss teaching!), but my husband's going to a conference and I've saved up my comp days to accompany him to that (and see my sister who's nearby - I'm not going to no stinkin' medical conference!) in Charlottesville, VA.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute bunny! We just had a new baby so no vacation for us this year but we may go on some day trips. We live in Connecticut so maybe New York City, New Hampshire, Maine, etc.
ReplyDeleteepeanut79 at comcast dot net
my daughter would love this "babbit", as she calls them... Ireland is a nice destination...
ReplyDeleteI'll vacation in my own backyard! Lol, this is not a travel summer for us. Gas is just too expensive.
ReplyDeleteWe are doing mostly 'staycations'-hanging at home together. Although the coast of Maine is a pretty awesome place. Lovely bunny!
ReplyDelete-vanessa

I'm not going on Vacation this year, we usually have one about every 10 years. Thanks so much for the chance to win this gorgeous little guy.
ReplyDeleteAtoxim at gmail dot com
Aw, so cute! I'm not certain that we'll be going anywhere this summer, which is kind of disappointing. We moved to Arizona from Texas somewhat hastily last summer and I'd dearly hoped to go back to visit this summer. Things don't seem to be working out for it though, so we may just staycation and learn what summer is like in the desert. ;) Thanks for taking part in Giveaway Day and for offering up such an adorable prize!
ReplyDeleteWe're off to Ireland in July
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely little bunny! Cruise? have you thought about a house swap thing? we went to NY a few weekends ago and stayed in someone's apartment for 150/night, it wasn't a hotel, but, it was a HUGE space with a kitchen and all, which was awesome....
ReplyDeleteIt is winter here in South Australia but we are heading off soon to see Lake Eyre in flood.

ReplyDeleteSuper cute bunny. We are going on vacation to Grand Teton National Park.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the great giveaway. It's lovely.
ReplyDeleteatchisonsteph at gmail dot com
I am going to Greece.
Great bunny! No holiday to speak of let alone boast of here, Kathy honey. We'd love to take one though and like you probably need one. It will probably be based from home and take long drives and find interesting things to do that we dont ncessarily get the time to do. Visiting people and places. We've taken rides on the steam train in the past and gone to places that we can get back home to the same day. It feels good to get out. I do hope you have a great holiday, which ever way you go and hope you feel refreshed and relaxed as a result.
ReplyDeleteDarling Mr. Bunny! Our vacation is to visit our native state and family in northern CA....beautiful redwoods and cool, but lovely, beach :)
ReplyDeletegrl_4_God at hotmail dot com
Vacation this year will be 1-2 weeks at my mother's house clearing out her belongings before we sell it. Not much of a vacation, is it? The only benefit is that she lives near Lake Michigan, so we can sneak in beach time in between.
ReplyDeleteLove the bunny!!
Amazing bunny! This would make my little niece or nephew very happy. This year we'll be vacationing in awesome Durham England.
ReplyDeletemr_slair(at)hotmail(dot)com
My husband's busy season for work is the summer, so we won't be going anywhere. Maybe an overnight camping trip up in the Sierra Nevadas (we live in the foothills). The bunny is adorable. Thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteYour rabbit has a beautiful expression on his face. No holiday for me for a while (winter coming up here in Tasmania) although I hope to go to South Australia later in the year to visit my mother.
ReplyDeleteNo vacation plans as yet. Im hoping a trip to Disneyland though :)
ReplyDeleteYou should check out vacations to Costa Rica. They aren't too expensive and it is a great country to visit. Your local travel agent probably has some brochures with vaca packages already made up and can be tailored to your wants.
Very cute! Love this! I'm having a baby boy in July so this would be perfect...Having said that...I doubt we will go anywhere b/c I will be so uncomfortable I won't want to go anywhere & then I doubt we will travel with a newborn...So maybe we will do a Fall vacation or wait until next summer! :-) Thanks for a great giveaway!
